Per The Sun, Osimhen has reportedly asked for £500,000-a-week wages before he completes a move to Chelsea. If the Blues agree to the striker's demands, it would make him highest-earning player in the Premier League. However, it is unlikely that the English giants would be willing to pay such a massive sum to the Nigerian forward.

Chelsea are looking to reduce their wage bill this season, which is one of the main reasons they have decided to offload Raheem Sterling. The club have been negotiating with Napoli and Osimhen's representatives throughout the summer but failed to reach an agreement. They had initially offered a loan deal to Napoli as they were not willing to match the player's release clause which is set at €130 million (£110m/$145m).
