Beckham made the most of another opportunity to pick holes in claims from his former Spice Girls star wife that she had a working class upbringing, with the ex-Three Lions captain posting on Instagram: “Just a nice casual New Year’s Eve lunch at The Ritz. @victoriabeckham Very working class?? THE BIGGER PICTURE

David and Victoria starred in the popular ‘Beckham’ documentary which aired on Netflix in 2023. During that series, David is seen responding to claims from Victoria that she grew up “very, very working class” by asking what car she was driven to school in. After several attempts to swerve that question, Victoria eventually admits: “OK, in the Eighties, my dad had a Rolls-Royce.” David then disappears out of view, saying “thank you” on his way.
