Bowen not selected for EnglandWest Ham star getting married to Dani DyerBowen finishes strongly in poor season for HammersFollow GOAL on WhatsApp! 🟢📱WHAT HAPPENED?
The West Ham forward was a surprise omission from the England squad for next month's fixtures against Moldova and Senegal. Bowen has once again been the Irons' standout player and would have been expecting a call from the new Three Lions boss. Bowen will feel the snub harder having already rearranged his wedding to Dani Dyer, the daughter of actor and West Ham fan Danny Dyer, twice.

As per talkSPORT, Dani explained on the Live and Let Dyers podcast: "We had to move the wedding forward anyway because there's England games in June. This was the problem. I would have liked to have left it one more year and then done it in 2026 but if there's a World Cup how can I plan a wedding around a potential World Cup? Imagine he got called to the World Cup and then his wedding was booked."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Bowen has 21 combined goals and assists in 33 Premier League games for West Ham this season, including four goals and two assists in his last five games. This follows an equally impressive 22 contributions in 34 league games last campaign. He will be disappointed to have not made the squad, even if he is behind Bukayo Saka in the pecking order. Noni Madueke has been chosen as the deputy right-winger to the Arsenal man.
