Palmer was back in Phil Parkinson’s starting XI for a 3-1 win over Morecambe and has said of being undefeated across the games that he has started in 2023-24: "Not just this season! It's good to be involved, I know my role within the team.”

Palmer has started 17 games for Wrexham this season, but his impressive unbeaten run stretches all the way back to a meeting with Notts County in October 2022.
